So little is mentioned about Enoch in Scripture. However, because of the testimony he had, almost every believer knows his name. Enoch never parted a sea, healed a sick person or lead a great army. What he did do was “walk with God” and “please God.” Could there be a better testimony of faith?

DISCUSS:
-We know very little about Enoch’s life except that he “walked faithfully with God.” What do you imagine Enoch’s life looked like if he “walked faithfully with God”? How do you think his life was different from those around him? What practical steps could we all take to faithfully walk with God daily?
-What does it mean that Enoch was taken up or translated? What does this show us about God? Are there any lessons we can learn from this?
-Why is having faith a necessity in pleasing God? What encouragement would you give to someone who admits that they struggle to have faith? Is it possible to please God even if you struggle?
-What is a specific area of your life in which you need more faith?
PRAY:
Pray that you will please God by always walking with Him.
RESPOND:
Faith that pleases God has two parts: belief in God and seeking Him. This week, choose one of those two characteristics to focus on and grow in your own faith.
